ACHIEVE A BALANCED BODY WITH IMPROVED CORE STRENGTH

Pain and injury is often caused by a weak core and muscle imbalances, which is clearly evident when you look at person's posture. This poor posture leads to poor movement patterns which then becomes the driver of pain and injury.

Your individual program is focussed on improving your core strength and posture, so you can move pain free throughout the day, and as you exercise.

This includes:

  • injury specific workouts
  • core strength development
  • weekly focus to inform you on how to prevent pain
  • postural assessment 
  • fully equipped studio

We cater for all ages with small group classes or private sessions if preferred.

With your chosen sport in mind we provide a customised program designed to help you achieve your best with improved performance and a reduced chance of injury. No previous experience with Pilates is required, all you need is the desire to make a change for the better. Your program includes:

YOUTH

WHY GOOD POSTURE WILL HELP YOUR CHILDREN

We are facing an epidemic of young people growing up on devices and small screens, not realising the long term effects on their health. Too often this is evident in the way they sit, stand and move throughout the day.

A simple test is to have your child stand up against a wall and see whether it possible for them to stand flush against the surface. Is there a gap in their lower back, does this activity cause them pain? All of these are signs that their posture is slowly deteriorating, leading to a range of future health issues. 

The good news is that  this process can not only be stopped but actually reversed, whereby good posture becomes the norm. At Red Rock Pilates we offer a three stage process that has proven to instill correct movement patterns that will reverse the curve, whilst helping to future proof your children from the negative effects of poor posture.
