The Red Rock difference

Knowing what to do is different from being able to do it.

A golf professional can identify the technical change. But if your body is restricted in rotation, unstable through the pelvis or lacking control, that change can be difficult to execute consistently.

Noeleen O’Shea assessing a client's posture and movement

This is not swing coaching. The aim is to help your body develop the mobility, stability and awareness required to physically carry out what your golf coach is asking of you.

Bring the one or two swing cues you are currently working on. Your Pilates program can then focus on the physical qualities that support those movements.

The golf lesson identifies the change. Pilates helps build the body that can make it.

Golf-specific focus

What we work on.

Not a generic workout. Your program is built around your body, your current movement and the demands of your golf.

  1. 01

    Spinal + thoracic rotation

Build freedom to turn without simply forcing movement through the lower back.

  2. 02

    Hip mobility + separation

Improve the ability of the pelvis and trunk to move with better independence and control.

  3. 03

    Pelvic stability

Create a more controlled base so movement can happen around it.

  4. 04

    Core control + transfer

Connect the body through the movement rather than relying on isolated effort.

  5. 05

    Shoulder mobility

Move the arms with less unnecessary neck and upper-body tension.

  6. 06

    Balance + body awareness

Improve control, feel and the ability to repeat better movement.

Personally taught

We do not change your swing. We help you access it.

Golf instruction and physical conditioning do different jobs. The best outcome is when they support each other.

If your coach keeps asking for a movement that feels difficult…

there may be a physical reason: limited rotation, poor pelvic control, restricted hips, lack of balance or difficulty organising the body under load. Pilates gives you a structured way to work on those qualities away from the course.

Bring your current swing cue.

Tell us what your coach is working on. We will use that information to help shape the physical focus of your program.

10 years ago my handicap was 36. Red Rock Pilates was the game changer. Increase movement and rotation, decrease the handicap

Your pathway

Personalised from the very beginning.

Every golfer begins privately so we can understand your goals and see how your body currently moves before building the program.

  1. 01

    Understand

We discuss your goals, current training, any limitations and the swing changes you are working on.

  2. 02

    Design

We look at posture, rotation, hips, shoulders, pelvic stability, balance and whole-body control, then build your individual program.

  3. 03

    Progress

You begin an individual Classical Pilates program and continue with guided sessions and regular reviews.
