How it works
A clear pathway. A program that evolves with you.
Every client begins privately so we can understand the person before prescribing the movement.
Every exercise earns its place.
Your program is designed around what your body needs now and where you want it to go. It may include work on the Reformer, Cadillac, chairs, barrels and mat, with progressions introduced when you are ready.
Individual exercise selection
Clear technique and purpose
Appropriate challenge and progression
Connection to everyday life or sport
01 · Initial consultationWe begin by listening.
Your first session is a private appointment. We discuss your goals, relevant history, daily activities, sport and any concerns about movement. A postural and movement assessment helps us recognise patterns, strengths and areas that may need support.
Discuss goals and priorities
Observe posture and movement
Introduce breathing and powerhouse principles
Begin with carefully selected exercises
02 · Your individual programYour program changes as you do.
Progress is reviewed regularly, with a more structured review approximately every ten weeks. We consider changes in posture, strength, mobility, confidence, attendance and your original goals, then refine the next stage of your program.
Recognise progress
Discuss challenges or setbacks
Update goals
Introduce the next level of work
03 · Guided sessionsPersonal attention continues.
Choose private teaching or a semi-private session capped at five. In a semi-private class, you are not following a generic sequence. You work through your own program while your instructor observes, corrects and progresses you.
Small, calm sessions
Individual cueing and correction
Teaching that builds independence
A supportive studio community
04 · Review and progressCommon questions
Before your first visit.
-
No. Your program begins at the right level for you, and every exercise is taught carefully.
-
Wear comfortable, close-fitting exercise clothing that allows you to move. Grip socks may be requested for studio sessions.
-
Many clients begin because movement feels limited or uncomfortable. We will discuss your circumstances at the initial consultation. Where appropriate, we may ask you to obtain clearance or coordinate with your treating health professional.
-
Consistency matters more than intensity. Many clients begin with one or two studio sessions each week, depending on their goals, schedule and budget.
-
Not necessarily. Some clients prefer private teaching, while others move into semi-private sessions once their program is established.
