Tennis Pilates · Sandringham
The stroke is yours.
The body behind it is ours.
Tennis-specific Classical Pilates for players who want freer rotation, a shoulder that holds up to serving and movement that still works late in a match—without touching a stroke you have played for years.

The Red Rock difference
One side hits. The whole body absorbs it.
Most players learned their strokes early and have played them for decades. Every serve and forehand since has loaded the same shoulder, the same hip and the same side of the back. Each repetition is reasonable. The pattern is what accumulates, and the body quietly adapts to being asymmetric.

Your stroke stays exactly as it is. It was learned years ago and it works. The aim is to build the rotation, shoulder control and balance that let you produce the same stroke in the third set as in the first—and next season as this one.
Bring how you play, how often, and where you feel it the day after. Your Pilates program can then focus on the physical qualities that support the tennis you actually play.
The stroke is already yours. Pilates builds the body that keeps repeating it.
Tennis-specific focus
What we work on.
Not a generic workout. Your program is built around your body, your current movement and the demands of your tennis.
01
Trunk rotation
Turn through the whole spine so power is not asked of the lower back alone.
02
Shoulder stability
Support the serving arm overhead, through the swing and on the way down.
03
Hip mobility + control
Load, turn and push off each side with the same confidence.
04
Lateral stability
Stop, change direction and recover without losing your base.
05
Evening up a one-sided sport
Give the non-dominant side the work the game never sends it.
06
Core control
Connect the legs to the racquet so force travels through rather than leaking away.
Personally taught
We do not touch your technique. We build what it runs on.
Match play and physical conditioning do different jobs. The best outcome is when one supports the other.
If the serve loses its height by the end of a match…
there may be a physical reason: a shoulder that fatigues, an upper back that will not extend, hips that cannot load, or a trunk that stops transferring force between the legs and the racquet. Pilates gives you a structured way to work on those qualities away from the court.
Bring your week on court.
Tell us how often you play, who you play against and where it shows up afterwards. We will use that to shape the physical focus of your program.
Your pathway
Personalised from the very beginning.
Every player begins privately so we can understand your goals and see how your body currently moves before building the program.
01
Understand
We discuss your goals, how much you play, any past injuries and what you would like your tennis to feel like.
02
Design
We look at posture, rotation, hips, shoulders, pelvic stability, balance and whole-body control, then build your individual program.
03
Progress
You begin an individual Classical Pilates program and continue with guided sessions and regular reviews.
