The Red Rock difference

Three sports pulling the same body in three directions.

The swim asks your shoulders to move freely overhead. The bike asks your hips to stay closed and your back to round. The run asks both to work again, on tired legs. Each is reasonable on its own. Together they leave very little time for the body to reset.

Noeleen O’Shea assessing a client's posture and movement

This is not a training plan. Your coach owns the week. Pilates does the part the week has no room for: restoring the range each discipline takes away and building the control that holds all three together.

Bring your training week and the race you are building towards. Your Pilates program can then focus on the qualities that keep three sports from working against each other.

Your coach plans the week. Pilates builds the body that can repeat it.

Triathlon-specific focus

What we work on.

Not a generic workout. Your program is built around your body, your current movement and the demands of all three disciplines.

  1. 01

    Shoulder mobility + control

Reach overhead freely in the water without giving away stability.

  2. 02

    Thoracic rotation

Rotate through the upper back for the stroke instead of forcing it through the lower back.

  3. 03

    Hip mobility

Open the hips the bike keeps closed, so the run off it feels like your own.

  4. 04

    Trunk stability

Hold a strong centre across all three sports, especially when the legs are tired.

  5. 05

    Single-leg strength

Build the control the run demands after the bike has already had its share.

  6. 06

    Breathing + recovery

Use the breath deliberately, and give the body a session that restores rather than drains.

Personally taught

We do not add another hard session. We make the ones you have work.

Triathlon coaching and physical conditioning do different jobs. The best outcome is when they support each other.

If the run off the bike never feels like your normal running…

there may be a physical reason: hips that stay closed after riding, a trunk that has already given up, or shoulders and upper back locked from the swim. Pilates gives you a structured way to work on those qualities without adding to your training load.

Bring your training week.

Tell us what your coach has planned and when your key sessions fall. We will shape your program to sit alongside them, not compete with them.

Your pathway

Personalised from the very beginning.

Every triathlete begins privately so we can understand your goals and see how your body currently moves before building the program.

  1. 01

    Understand

We discuss your goals, your training week across all three sports, any past injuries and the race you are working towards.

  2. 02

    Design

We look at posture, rotation, hips, shoulders, pelvic stability, balance and whole-body control, then build your individual program.

  3. 03

    Progress

You begin an individual Classical Pilates program and continue with guided sessions and regular reviews.
